What artist do you consider to make authentic country music, and vice versa?

I need to do a project where you talk about an artist that is authentic in a genre, and an artist that is not. Ideas for places to find information would be great too. Any suggestions?

    Love Keith Urban! Music always evolves and changes…if it didn’t how could we make progress? Country music back "then" compared to now is different, but how can you not catagorize it as "country"?
    I get pretty heated when people say it isn’t "real country".
