It doesn’t matter what brand of camera you are using. You just need to make sure that your camera has some way of transferring the video files onto your computer.

If the camera has an SD card or USB cable to connect with, take the card out of the camera and put it in the SD card slot in your computer (obviously, your computer needs to have an SD slot as well), or use the cable to connect the camera to the computer.

Most computers will automatically detect when you have done one or the other of the above things and will give you instructions on what to do next to store the files on your computer.

Make a note of where you have stored the files (so you can find them again – generally, your computer will choose to store them in a file labeled ‘Pictures’ or ‘Videos’). Then go to YouTube, sign in, and click ‘Upload a file’, then browse to the place on the computer where the files are stored and click on the one you want. It should automatically load (wait for it to finish) and then you’re done.

You might be better off finding someone who knows how it’s done to show you how in real life. They will be able to tell if you camera is capable of it and take you through all the steps. It isn’t complicated, but it’s diffcult to explain (without a very long tutorial) online.
