What do you listen to during observing sessions?

Nine times out of ten, I tune the radio to NPR and listen to classical, but sometimes I like to listen to light, classic rock. Favorites of yours?

The sounds of silence.

I have, in the past, listened to the battlestar galactica soundtracks while observing. It’s some of the best music I’ve ever listened to… But typically I’m out with people when observing so I don’t listen to music much while doing it.

Classic rock for me. Bands like CCR, Springsteen, the Beatles, even a little Pink Floyd and the Doors.

The sounds of the night. Although I love music, I never listen to music while observing. My observatory is in the country, and I enjoy the sounds of night birds, distant cows, coyotes, and things that go boomp in the night. Man-made music has no place there.
